Two friends who stole more than £2,000 worth of goods from a high street chemist have admitted further theft offences.
21-year-old Abigail Paterson and 23-year-old Rebecca Marran, from Albany Road and Woodbourne Road respectively, appeared at Douglas Courthouse earlier this week.
The duo admitted stealing an electric toothbrush worth £280 from Boots on Strand Street in Douglas on March 27th.
Paterson also admitted stealing a baby monitor and two bottles of perfume on the same day.
At Douglas Courthouse last week the pair admitted another theft charge - they stole £2,046 of items from Boots on March 28th.
The court was told employee Paterson was seen serving ex-employee Marran on two separate occasions on that day - when till records were checked only two items had been paid for.
All of the theft offences will be joined together and the women will be sentenced before the Deputy High Bailiff on May 16th - they've been bailed until that date.
A third woman - 53-year-old Amanda Marran, of Woodbourne Road, also appeared before Magistrates charged with carrying out the theft of the baby monitor with Paterson.
She denied the offence and will stand trial - a pre-trial review will take place on June 8th; she's also been bailed.
