There are plans to still hold the Manx Music, Speech and Dance Festival online this year.
The 2020 occasion was cancelled because of the Coronavirus pandemic, but organisers have begun a new project called 'The Guild Goes On' supported by sponsors Dandara and Celton Manx.
Festival company secretary, Jacqueline Yates, says competitors will be able to upload a home recording which will be reviewed by a qualified adjudicator and certificates will be sent out by e-mail.
The event is open to anyone who was due to take part in this years event, and 'the guild' adds it will continue to honour any refunds for the usual occasion if at all possible.
More details on how to enter is available at the Manx Music, Speed and Dance Festival website.
