Star Christopher Eccleston heralds Isle of Man as fantastic place to film
Tonight will see the long awaited premiere of big budget BBC conspiracy Drama, The Shadowline – filmed on the Isle of Man last year.
The first episode was met by rave reviews when revealed to critics earlier last month, heralded as the leader of BBC’s renaissance.
It filmed in numerous locations across the Island last July.
It’s got all the components for gritty drama with murder, conspiracy and suspense.
It stars the cream of the British acting crop with Christopher Eccleston, Chiwetel Ejifor and Rafe Spall all part of a major ensemble cast.
Speaking to 3FM shortly after production had wrapped Christopher Eccleston saying the Island as a fantastic place to make a programme, and specifically praised all of the local talent who played their part.
