The Peggy to return to Castletown by 2025

'The Peggy' is set to return to Castletown by September 2025.

That's the latest from Chief Minister Alf Cannan, following questions in Tynwald earlier this week.

MHK for Castletown, Arbory and Malew Jason Moorhouse asked when the vessel is set to return to the South.

The 18th-century yacht was moved moved back in 2015 for conservation.

Mr Cannan said he's been advised by Manx National Heritage they 'remain committed' to returning the vessel - and are aiming for September in two years time.
