A scam targeting Isle of Man Bank customers is believed to have cost Manx residents hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Earlier this week, the bank warned about a text message claiming to have spotted a suspicious purchase from Amazon costing thousands of pounds.
But when people ring the number provided, they're actually talking to fraudsters who try to collect enough information to access bank accounts.
So far, the conmen are believed to have collected more than £700,000 through the scheme.
Isle of Man bank says the incident is ongoing, but won't confirm how much customers have lost.
Isle of Man Banks says:
Check the number you're being asked to call. Only ever call the bank on a known or published number (such as on our website, the telephone directory or on your bank statement). Never call back on a number contained within a text message.
Never use your card reader when logging into your online banking account, or over the phone
If you've responded to a message like this, you should contact the bank immediately using our published numbers
