Shoprite (Isle of Man) Limited has today announced the sale of its nine stores on the Isle of Man to Tesco.
The purchase means Tesco will move into all of Shoprite's existing stores, increasing their on Island presence to 10 properties.
The stores will remain as Shoprite whilst a rebranding exercise begins, which will be complete over the next nine months.
All affected staff will be offered roles in the new Tesco stores.
