A 20mph speed limit will be in place on Douglas Promenade from next week for six months.
It will be in force from 6am Monday, November 19 until 6pm on Monday, May 19 next year between it's junction with Peveril Square and it's junction with Summer Hill Road.
It's while work is carried out for the Douglas Promenade Refurbishment Scheme.
The Department of Infrastructure says this will be indicated on signs in the area.
