A teenager charged with possessing drugs and escaping custody will appear in court again next month.
Neil Clarke of Cronk Bane Farm in Cronk-y-Voddy was excused appearing before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
His advocate told the hearing the 17 year old, who hasn't yet entered pleas, was suffering from chickenpox.
Magistrates bailed Mr Clarke to appear in court again on July 8.
