A teenager, serving a custodial sentence for drug offences, assaulted two members of staff at his secure unit.
Taylor Murphy, of Cronk Sollysh secure unit, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 17-year-old admitted two counts of assault and one of destroying property following the incident at the unit on February 28.
The court heard Murphy punched a staff member several times when they entered his room before attacking another worker who tried to intervene.
He also smashed a television.
The case was adjourned until May 16.
