A committee looking at the draft education bill for the Island will hear from teaching unions and home educators next month.
The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee will be taking evidence on the matter from 1.30pm on June 14.
Among those appearing at the session will be National Officer for education at NASUWT, Darren Northcott and four representatives from the Manx Home Education Association.
It will be held in the Legislative Council Chamber at Legislative Buildings in Douglas on that day.
