School leaders' union NAHT is inviting the Island's new MHKs to a discussion on education priorities.
The union received widespread support from MHK candidates throughout the election campaign with many signed an online pledge to put education at the heart of their campaigns.
NAHT Isle of Man's branch secretary, Max Kelly, says their education-focused hustings demonstrated the appetite for change, and he hopes all MHKs now deliver on the passion and commitment to education that they demonstrated.
He adds that the parliamentary briefing is an invitation to every MHK to take the education agenda forward, and a date will be set after the Tynwald ceremonial inductions and governmental appointments have been made.
