A local teacher has won an award for her 'unique and fascinating' artwork which celebrates the Island's UNESCO Biosphere status.
Janet Corran took part in the Isle of Man Arts Council's Ellyn project with artwork inspired by our Biosphere - her piece saw a disused dresser converted and decorated into a work of art filled with curiosities.
The psychology teacher's work explored the nature versus nurture debate and the importance of environmental learning for young people.
Mrs Corran says she's thrilled to win as it means that her work has been understood.
