A teacher will be sentenced this month after being convicted of assault and wasting police time.
Carole Jones of Silverburn Drive in Ballasalla was excused appearing before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 37 year old committed the offences between August and October last year, and the court heard pre-sentencing reports are being prepared.
Magistrates adjourned the case until June 24.
