A taxi driver who ran over a pensioner and drove off without reporting it has been sentenced to three years in prison.
David Evans, formerly of Tynwald Street in Douglas hit and reversed over 73-year-old Carolyn Buchan after dropping her off at her home on Marathon Avenue.
She was found in the road just after 7am on 20 March.
Mr Evans was sentenced to 3 years in prison for causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving and perverting the course of justice.
