The price of using some forms of the Island's public transport is to rise.
There's been an increase in taxi fares, bus fares have also been forced up due to spiralling diesel costs.
Director of Public Transport Ian Longworth said that diesel costs make up roughly 15% of the Department's costs.
The rise will see an average ten pence more will be added on to each journey from Sunday.
Taxi fares are increasing by five per cent, from 1st April.
