There are no plans to give unmarried couples the same tax breaks as those who are married.
So says Treasury Minister Chris Thomas, who faced questions on the issue in Tynwald this week.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper asked if those living together could be given equal treatment.
However, Mr Thomas said there were no plans to change the personal tax system in that way:
