Firefighters are urging people to make sure they use candles safely over Hop Tu Naa.
The Island's Fire and Rescue Service says this week marks Candle Fire Safety Week and says it's important to be aware of the risks of candles.
Their advice is never leave candles unattended, keep them away from flammable objects and away from children and pets.
You should always use stable candle holders, and make sure they're put out properly afterwards.
