An accident blocked one of the main commuter routes in Douglas this morning (Wednesday).
Police said the accident was on Castletown Road in Kewaigue, at the junction with the Old Castletown Road.
Traffic was backed up and cars were being turned back.
Police added that Rencell Hill in Laxey was also blocked due to fallen electricity lines on the Main Road.
