A benefits fraudster who wrongly claimed more than £24,000 has been given a suspended jail sentence.
47 year old Emma Hearnden of Croit E Caley in Colby admitted six counts of benefits fraud, by failing to declare money for rent she'd been given by her ex-husband.
As a result, she was overpaid £24,236.
Magistrates imposed a 20-week jail term suspended for 18 months.
