A suspected cannabis and cocaine dealer had more than £28,000 in his home, a court’s heard.
Alex James Taylor of Malew Street in Castletown appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 25-year-old denies being concerned in the production of cannabis, possessing cannabis and cocaine with intent to supply them and possessing criminal property but pleaded guilty to possessing three ecstasy tablets.
The court heard police were called after a suspicious package at a sorting office turned out to contain 5.6 grammes of cannabis worth £112.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing a search of Taylor’s home uncovered almost £5,000 worth of cannabis and cocaine as well as tens of thousands of pounds in cash.
Mrs Hughes bailed him until his next court appearance on February 1.
