Mobile provider Sure wants to build two antennas at the TT grandstand to improve connectivity there for visitors.
It's put forward proposals for two 1.4-metre high structures to be mounted to the walls of the building on Glencrutchery Road.
The company says whilst existence coverage in the area is good, the capacity during busy times for TT and the Manx Grand Prix is no longer sufficient.
Sure added all ancillary equipment which would come with the antennas would be installed inside the grandstand itself.
