Sure customers will see no changes to current services after the business was sold to a Bahrainian telecommunications company.
Cable and Wireless has secured a $680 million deal with Batelco for the sale of the Monaco and Islands business units which includes the Isle of Man.
Batelco says the Isle of Man region is a well managed business that it looks forward to developing.
The deal is likely to be signed off by the end of the financial year.
Chief executive of Cable and Wireless on the Isle of Man Andy Bridson says although it's business as usual, he does expect the deal to bring benefits:
