Both the House of Keys and the Legislative Council yesterday voted in support of the Gas Regulation (Amendment) Bill.
The bill is geared toward putting measures in place to stop vulnerable members of the community from having their gas supply disconnected.
It means there will be certain circumstances where Isle of Man Energy will not be able to disconnect.
