It was second time lucky for an 83-year-old Laxey man as he abseiled down the famous TT grandstand for an Island charity.
Bob Leith completed the challenge on Sunday - after it was re-arranged as his first attempt couldn't go ahead for safety reasons.
The abseil was in memory of his wife Christine who passed away last year, with the funds raised going to local cause Live At Home.
Around £500 is expected to be made for the organisation - which aims to help prevent social isolation and loneliness amongst the older population.
