Summer may have been warmest on record

The summer of 2025 may have been the warmest on Manx records, according to provisional figures from the Ronaldsway Met Office.

August brought more fine summer weather, turning out warmer and drier than the 30-year average.

Meanwhile the average minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius set a new record, narrowly warmer than 1995.

Daily maximum temperatures averaged 19.8 degrees Celsius, with 23.3mm of rainfall making it the driest August since 2003.
