Barbers are being taught to spot the warning signs of clients who have suicidal thoughts.
BarberTalk suicide prevention training is being launched by Public Health Isle of Man.
The training will teach hairdressers to recognise the signs that a client is struggling and where to direct them for support.
The scheme is part of the Island's Suicide Prevention Strategy which launches in early October.
