Three students are preparing to go to NASA's command centre.
Each year the United Space School gives a trio of local sixth formers the chance to work alongside astronauts and other students to design a simulated space mission.
This year, Guy McGuinness, Hollie Patterson-Hannay and Patrick Williams of Ballakermeen High School will fly to Houston in Texas.
