Don't assume it's a hangover - it could be meningitis.
That's the message to students from Public Health, who say those going to college and uni should know the symptoms.
On Twitter, the organisation says students starting a new academic year should know about septicaemia and meningitis.
The message is not to think it's simply a hangover or Fresher's flu and to contact your GP if you're concerned.
If you’re going to uni for the first time or returning for a new year, make sure you know the symptoms of meningitis and septicaemia, and what to do if you or a mate are showing signs of these. pic.twitter.com/akMwpsSfGv
