Student police officers on the Island will be taking to Regent Street today for a major charity fundraising initiative.
11 new recruits will be using a cross-trainer to replicate a 100-mile ski challenge, essentially the distance of the Island’s coastline.
It’s custom for the new police officers to take part in a charity initiative early into their new professions.
They’re inviting the public to come down and offer their support between 9am and 5pm.
All money raised will be split up between The Rob Vine Fund and Victim Support.
