The Island's Student Climate Network is calling for change.
The group's aim is to lobby government to provide climate action to protect the future of young people.
Founder Archibald Elliott wants climate change, its causes and impacts, to be taught in schools, as well as the Island's goal for net zero carbon emmissions to be pushed to 2035 rather than 2050.
Speaking to 3FM, he added that the new government has the chance to do something about it:
Government could cash in £852.6m assets within 10 days
Rapists's appeal against sentence thrown out
Last chance to become next TT's charity partner
No gas price hike after regulator review
Cafe hits back after staff abused
Online appointments being considered by sexual health clinic
Treasury can’t say how much is made from medicinal cannabis
Road closures planned for tin baths this weekend
