The Island's Student Climate Network is calling for change.
The group's aim is to lobby government to provide climate action to protect the future of young people.
Founder Archibald Elliott wants climate change, its causes and impacts, to be taught in schools, as well as the Island's goal for net zero carbon emmissions to be pushed to 2035 rather than 2050.
Speaking to 3FM, he added that the new government has the chance to do something about it:
