Could the Island be faced with a postal strike this Christmas?
It comes following the Communication Workers Union (CWU) seeking support for it over proposed changes to pay and conditions.
In an emergency meeting in September CWU's Deputy General Secretary Postal, Terry Pullinger, said proposed changes were 'the most horrific' he'd ever seen.
Last month IOM Post Office Chair Julie Edge said she wants to reassure customers, ensuring if strike action happens the branch has a 'robust contingency plan'.
The ballot on potential action is being taken today.
