Former Conservative MP, novelist and celebrity dancing sensation Ann Widecombe is on the Isle of Man today to give a talk about her long and varied career in the spotlight.
The booking was made long before she appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and in that time interest in the former politician has seen a major resurgence.
She’ll be addressing lots of different topics in the talk, focussing especially on her life in politics, her religious beliefs aswell as her writing and TV careers.
Her talk at the Gaiety Theatre will be followed by a Q&A session with 200 of the Island’s sixth form students on hand to give her grilling.
It will only be a whistle stop tour as she’ll be back into her rigorous rehearsal regime for this weeks taping of Strictly.
