Storm Arwen continues to cause travel disruption this morning after a night of blocked roads and fallen trees.
A tree which fell in Minorca Hill in Laxey last night saw fire crews and Manx Utilities working together to make the area safe.
Residents in the area experienced power shortages for a time during the clear-up.
Roads were cleared last night across the island, including New Castletown Road, Ballaleece Bridge, Ballamodha Road and Dreemskerry Road in Maughold.
Meanwhile, this morning Old Castletown Road has been closed near the Nunnery and Grenaby Road due to fallen trees.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area until Department of Infrastructure teams can clear the road in daylight.
The Mountain Road and the Sloc/Round Table will remain closed until 9am.
The Department of Infrastructure and Manx Utilities will post updates on social media and relay messages from the Met Office.
