Police say they've made four arrests after copper cable was stolen from the Manx Electric Railway earlier this week.
A vehicle snagged lines in Baldrine on Wednesday and the cables were left nearby as repairs took place.
But thieves made off with around 200 metres of the overhead power lines that night.
Officers say they've arrested four people and recovered some but not all of the cabling.
