Police are appealing for the public’s help after two cars were stolen and then abandoned in the north of the Island.
The vehicles were taken at sometime between 11pm on Friday and 6.20am on Saturday.
A green Skoda Octavia was taken from Andreas and later found in Glen Auldyn and a grey Volkswagen Golf was stolen from Ramsey and was crashed in the early hours of the morning in the Andreas area.
Police say it was likely that the person in the Golf will have sustained injuries to the face and hands and are asking anyone who knows someone who had unaccounted marks or scratches to come forward.
