Work Moves on In Queen Pier Re-development
A major step forward has been taken in the possible re-development of Ramsey’s Queen Pier.
Consulting engineers have been appointed to develop a preliminary design for what could potentially become the restored Queen’s Pier.
The firm are in the early stages of the design and have been liaising with stakeholders in the pier about the progress options to secure its future.
At the same time there is also a technical evaluation going on into the possibility of a marina in Ramsey.
A report of the findings will be presented to Tynwald by November of this year.
