The Island's education minister says there's no need for the skills board to get involved in events promoting science and technology for children.
In the House of Keys this week, Daphne Caine faced questions about the teaching of STEM subjects: Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
Onchan MHK Julie Edge asked if the education department has considered having the skills board more involved in events promoting the subjects.
