Drugs Advice Service and Helpline DASH are reiterating their message for revellers to stear well clear of drugs in the run up to New Years Eve.
It’s believed there is a new substance from Russia growing in popularity, which contains a potentially fatal substance called phenazepam.
The legal high is known as Bonsai and people in the UK have been taking it believing it to be cocaine, it’s often resulted in hospitalisation.
Bonsai is said to be the most dangerous legal high currently on the market and people are urged to stay well away.
A plea has also gone out to people not to mix substances with alcohol as the affects can be equally as damaging.
