Steam Packet proud of crew member who worked his way up the ranks

The Steam Packet says it's proud as one of their crew starts his officer training at Fleetwood Nautical College.

Able Seafarer James Taylor is looking to rise further up the ranks and become an Officer of the Watch. 

The ferry company says since joining in 2010, Jay’s shown professionalism, drive, and a strong commitment to learning.

He worked his way up from Passenger Services to become an officer cadet. 

Jay was joined on the bridge of Manxman by Master on duty, Lawrence who presented him with his epaulettes.
