Steam Packet offers help to those missing flights

The Isle of Man Steam Packet has offered to help those who miss flights to the Island due to long security queues.

In a post on social media, the company says anyone missing a flight from Manchester can head to Heysham port for an overnight sailing at the lowest possible price.

Until Monday March 21, you can be booked on a 2:15am sailing as a foot passenger from £19.25, if you have confirmation of the flight you have missed within the previous 24 hours.

If the situation at Manchester Airport continues, the offer may be extended.
