The Steam Packet Company is looking to de-bunk some common 'myths' about its new flagship vessel.
The company says there have been comments made about the Manxman's seaworthiness, and has taken to social media to clear things up.
Rumours include the boat's inability to sail at night or in windy conditions, and that the bridge windows are too heavily tinted and lifejackets have had to be replaced.
The Steam Packet has reassured that the vessel can sail at any time of day and will be gradually eased into windier conditions.
It adds that there is 'more than sufficient clarity and range' through the bridge windows and no new lifejackets were required.
