Vaccinations will now be offered to Steam Packet employees.
The Chief Minister confirmed the news during tonight's Covid-19 media briefing.
It comes following a second employee of the Steam Packet testing positive for Covid-19 this week.
The individual is an Island-based member of staff but doesn't hold a passenger-facing role and went into immediate isolation.
It was also confirmed vaccinations will also be offered to crew at Mezeron - the Ramsey-based freight operator, as well as Loganair and air ambulance crews.
