The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company says its crew and engineers are still investigating the technical incident from this morning.
The Company’s engineering team is working with its equipment manufacturers to resolve the issue and hopes to have a test run this afternoon.
It's after the technical issue onboard the vessel led to the cancellations of today's sailings.
The Ben-my-Chree is being prepared to for sailings as a contingency and will issue a further update at 4pm.
