A man who threw his girlfriend's bank card down a drain and smeared blood around a police cell has admitted two charges.
Michael Kaighin of Fairfield Terrace in Douglas appeared before Douglas magistrates last week charged with theft and criminal damage.
The court heard he'd thrown the card away during an argument with his partner on October 22, and smeared the blood around the cell after he was arrested.
Magistrates fined him a total of £125, ordered him to pay £125 costs and bound him over to keep the peace for six months.
