State of Island's roads up for discussion in House of Keys

Infrastructure Minister David Cretney will be asked in the House of Keys on Tuesday for a progress update on the state of the Island’s roads.

He’ll be asked about the situation regarding road maintenance by Douglas South MHK, Kate Beecroft.

It has previously been established that the total cost to repair all of the Island’s roads would be in the region of £100 million, an unrealistic figure given the current economic climate.

It’s anticipated the roads will be in a far better condition that this time last year, due to a much milder winter, with no significant snow or ice.

Tuesday’s sitting will get underway at 10am.
