Students will now plan episode of Question Time to be broadcast
St Ninians have emerged victorious following a major UK wide competition combining both television and politics.
Initially over 1000 schools took part and following the first stage it was whittled down to 15; St Ninian's politics students then had the task of planning and producing their own version of the BBC show Question Time.
A group of sixth formers hosted an evening of debate complete with chairman, studio guests and live audience, with judges from the BBC attending.
They were successful in this final stage and now two students will travel to London to help in the behind the scenes planning for an actual episode of Question Time which will be broadcast in July.
Politics teacher Liam Core attributes the win to the hard work and dedication of all students involved.
