Firefighters were called to tackle a building fire in St Johns this morning.
Teams were called shortly after 10.30am to the incident on Station Road - the owner of the property had been alerted by alarms being activated and found it was heavily logged with smoke.
Crews gained access and found a faulty paper shredder to be the cause.
The shredder was then removed and the premises ventilated.
