St Christopher's Isle of Man will use a £36,000 grant to create a 'culture of diversity and inclusion' across its services.
Awarded by the Manx Lottery Trust, the funding will go towards employing an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor.
The role will equip staff with the right tools, training and support to make people feel safe and free from the effects of perceived or actual bias.
Anne Seed, Director of Operations, says they can ensure that equal opportunities for development and promotion are genuinely accessible to all.
