Sports Science workshops to benefit students

The workshops are open to any students ranging from GSCE level through to university who study a sports-orientated subject.

They’re being hosted by elite sports science organisation By Design, which works with top-level British athletes and Olympians.

During each of next Saturday’s two-hour sessions attendees can learn more about the physics of sport through a range of fun practical experiments and compete in a rowing race and have the opportunity to test state-of-the-art equipment.

By Design will also run a number of school workshops next Thursday and Friday at the Manx Museum, to enable as many young people as possible to learn from their expertise.
